An opportunity exists for an energetic and passionate person to join a dedicated Pastoral Care team in the following role:
Pastoral Care Co-ordinator
(Classification: PAR 5; Commencing in Term 2, 2025 or as negotiated)
The Pastoral Care Co-ordinator will be a middle leadership role within the Pastoral Care Team. The position is responsible for proactively monitoring and supporting student wellbeing and exercising pastoral care within the schools vertical structure in a manner which reflects School values.
Key Accountabilities
- Promote the holistic educational development of students in their houses
- Collaborate with others to ensure effective management of student wellbeing
- Facilitate the establishment, development, implementation, and evaluation of behaviour support processes
- Ensure effective Child Protection practices
- Oversee specific Year Level operational responsibilities
- Foster right relationships within the School community
- Meeting Workplace Health and Safety obligations

Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (Bachelor of Education, etc.)
- Hold a current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers Registration (or eligible to gain)
- Working Rights for Australia (or eligible to gain)

- Proven ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and the broader school community
- A commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest educational practices
