An opportunity exists for an energetic and passionate person to join our catering and hospitality team in the following role:
COOK
(Permanent Part Time; Term Time only; hours to be negotiated,
including weekends; commencing ASAP)
The role is integral to the functioning of the hospitality team and works closely with the Catering Supervisor and other members of the hospitality team. The duties include meal preparation and planning, staff supervision, stock control, serving meals, preparing for special events. Tasks are as directed by the Catering Supervisor.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Cert III in Commercial Catering and Hospitality (or similar)
- 5 years experience working in a commercial kitchen
- Experience working in a school would be highly regarded
Mandatory
- Current Queensland Blue Card
Hours of work will include early mornings, evenings and weekends each week of the School term as negotiated with the Catering Supervisor. Weekend work is an essential criteria for this role.
