All Souls St Gabriels School, an independent day and boarding School, is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated Junior School Teacher to join our Junior School teaching team. Located in northern Australia, we welcome students from diverse backgrounds, providing them with a supportive, high-quality education from Pre-prep to Year 12.

Position Overview:

This one-year fixed-term contract offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire and develop the skills of young learners through Health and Physical Education (HPE). As a valued member of our teaching team, you will foster personal growth, teamwork, and a love for physical activity within a supportive and collaborative School community.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will:

• Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate HPE lessons for Junior School students.
• Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages physical activity and well-being.
• Contribute positively to the School’s teaching team by collaborating with colleagues and participating in shared planning.
• Build meaningful relationships with students, parents, and staff to support student achievement.
• Actively participate in Extra-curricular programs and School community events.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for Health and Physical Education and fostering a love for physical activity.
