An opportunity exists for an energetic and passionate swim instructor to join our sports team:
Learn to Swim (LTS) Instructor
(Casual; to commence as soon as possible)
The School seeks to employ a suitably qualified Learn to Swim (LTS) Instructor on a casual basis. The Learn to Swim Instructor will be required to teach students from ages 3, including students at all swim levels.
You will require the appropriate swimming qualifications.
- Conduct Learn to Swim classes for children aged 3 -12+ years of age
- Build strong rapport with students through a positive approach to delivering swimming lessons
- Understand the objectives associated with each level of the program and ensure instructions are always focused on achieving those objectives.
- Prepare for the classes, ensuring all required equipment is available and set up
- Undertake general cleaning and maintenance of equipment as required
Mandatory requirements
- Current Swim Australia Teacher or AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and water safety
- Current Qld Blue card
- First Aid qualification
